Pick games are really easy to play, and Indiana's Daily 4 is no exception! Select four numbers between 0 and 9 and match them all to win great prizes.
Another appealing aspect of Daily 4 is the amount of control you have as a player, with multiple wager types, a flexible price point and the innovative Superball feature. Take a look through the step-by-step guide below to find out what you need to do to fill out a playslip.
Specify which play type you want from the following options - Straight, Box, 1-Off, Combo, Wheel or Front 3/Back 3. This is when you decide whether you want to try to match the numbers exactly, in any order, or a combination of the two. The Ways to Play page outlines what each play type entails.
Pick a four-digit combination between 0000 and 9999 by selecting one number from each line on your playslip. If you would prefer to have a random selection rather than choosing your own, you can opt for a Quick Pick and the lottery computer will generate the numbers for you.
Daily 4 has a range of possible wager amounts for you to choose from. You can put down as little as $0.50 per play, or wager $1, $2, $5 or $10. The amount you spend directly determines how much you can win for your selected play type, so decide which option suits you best.
Add the Superball option to boost your chances of winning. It doubles the cost of your wager but essentially creates four more winning combinations that you might be able to match to land yourself a prize. More information on how it works can be found below.
In every draw, a fifth number - the Superball - is randomly selected after the first four. This can replace any of the other drawn numbers. Here is an example:
Keep in mind that the Superball can only be switched with one of the drawn/winning numbers, not the ones on your ticket. Adding the Superball improves your odds of winning, while it also gives you the chance to win multiple prizes in the same draw. For example, if you picked 1113 as a Box and the numbers drawn were 1133, this would be a losing ticket. However, if the Superball was a 1, you could switch either of the 3s to give you two wins (1113 and 1131).
You can enter the Midday draw, the Evening draw, or both. Specify how many consecutive days you want to play, up to a maximum of 28.
The Midday drawing takes place at 1:20 PM ET, and you have to purchase your tickets by 1:10 PM ET. The Evening drawing is held at 11:00 PM ET, with a cut-off time of 10:39 PM for ticket sales.
To win a prize, you have to match the numbers you have selected according to the requirements of your play type (for example, in exact order or any order). Each play type has different odds and a different prize that you can win. The amount you wager also determines your potential payout. Go to the Odds and Prizes page for a table showing all the payouts that are available in Daily 4.
